NEW MEXICO  AGATES PAGE 1

Included here is a random selection of agates that I have collected from various locations in New Mexico, mostly in the Apache Creek area.  New Mexico has a bounty of great agate and mineral collecting opportunities, and besides that, is a beautiful state to visit too. The pieces that come from known locations are named, all others are from private locations.  Specimens that are unpolished are lightly oiled to better show their colors.

Measurements are given as width across face and height.
